Robin & Bill began their careers in Toledo, Ohio as art directors and graphic designers. In 1990, they moved to Columbus, Ohio to continue their careers but eventually, were able to focus on their roots as artists. Bill moved quickly in his career as a young graphic designer to the VP of a large agency and culminating in the opening of a branding company with his wife, Robin, in Columbus, Ohio. Their branding of many companies, both large and small won many awards. But Bill yearned to go back to his passion as a fine artist which was always front and center.
Bill enjoys working in clay, graphite, acrylics, and found objects. He has spent nearly every evening of his life drawing in his sketchbooks. He is really looking forward to bringing more of his ideas to life.
Robin started to work in metals many years ago learning mostly from the generosity of her peers and by attending many classes. She works in gold, sterling & fine silver, brass, and copper. Most recently, her love of color has brought her to study and focus mostly on enamel art jewelry, which is fired as many as 20 times per piece to achieve the brilliant color of the enamel.
Extending her love of color, Robin started to study pastel painting and is currently painting and focusing on nature and landscapes. The technique of layering pastels from dark to light creates the brilliant colors achieved.
